Sometimes research is an isolating business; solitude is a necessary part of what it requires.
At the Science Spectacular I have seen researchers become comfortable in the role of storyteller. I have also noticed family groups who are repeat attenders, and I like to think that this gives me some sense of what the University may mean to the children in these families. Are they future professors/enviromentalists/technologists/educators?
Is this where the spark of curiosity is ignited?
